Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 pro are creating a lot of buzz right now. Some of that is because of the power packed hardware, some because of their Glass design. And a lot because of their prices, many saying that Redmi K20 at a price of Rs 21,999 is particularly pricey and K20pro at 27,999 but they are not believe me .
Let dig it down and find out how pricey they are .
Its just that before the actual launch social-networking platforms and specially our beloved youtube reviewers create a HYPE around it and as XIOMI is also saying #BelievetheHYPE , so we believe it isn’t it. Every youtube tech-expert giving their opinions and claiming that the price of K20 (snapdragon 730) will be around 20,000 and K20pro (snapdragon 855) will be around 25,000 as they are following the Chinese market prices .
But I assure you that is only expected and when you expect something unreal that not gonna happen right . Even this is not enough someone goes and files a petition for the high prices of the flagship Killer. Poor fellow go and buy it you will not get this specs from any other brand.
The pricing expectations in the case of K20 and the K20 Pro are clearly wrong. The Redmi K20 Pro is perfect for its price. It’s more than perfect in some ways for its price. The phone has got the design right, it looks and feels extremely premium, comes with latest hardware, decent set of cameras, big battery, amazing SUPER AMOLED display, and offers exceptional performance. As I mentioned all the specification of the KILLER in my previous post of the Redmi K20 Pro, Xiaomi is not particularly compromising on any aspect of the K20 Pro, although in some cases there is still room for improvement, and it always be in any smartphones out there.
Now make your mind and stop Believing the HYPE around its prices let discuss some features FLAGSHIP KILLER offers
The entire look of the phones is premium because the brand has taken the aid of the nano-holographic technology. This unique technology renders an exquisite flamed texture on their curved glass backs. On the display front, the phones have a 6.39-inch FHD AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor. XIOMI confirmed that they use Gorilla Glass 5 in front as well as in back panel of the phone and thats look awesome .
Xiaomi seems to stay laser-focused when it comes to the camera. The primary shooter of both Redmi K20 and K20 Pro are equipped with a robust 48-MP camera. They also have a 13MP wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel depth sensor. Users of other brands are already smitten by the superlative quality of the rear camera, thanks to the inclusion of this incredible triple camera system.
The formidable combination of a 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra high-resolution sensor, a 13MP 124.8° FOV ultra-wide angle camera and a third 8MP telephoto camera delivers crystal clear pictures no matter what the scene. You can zoom effortlessly from 0.6x to 2x to capture a far off subject.
Coming to the front camera, both these models sport a 20 MP shooter with a dynamic pop-up mechanism. Speed of Popping out is slow if you used it for Face-unlocking features and I advice you dont use face-unlocking on any of the smartphones bec they didnt use special IR camera to recognise Face like Iphone does .
Beautiful slo-mo videos
Slow down and note every detail. The 960fps HD slo-mo recording feature allows you to emphasize every moment in cinematic detail.
You can also use it as a motion-tracking camera to capture your subject in action. The camera will move with your subject without you having to move the device and capture uncut smooth movement. This is great and neatly implemented as shown in some videos I have not personally checked it but
Slow-mo and Motion tracking looks cool.
Redmi K20 works on Snapdragon 730 chipset which is almost as efficient as Snapdragon 835. On the other hand, the K20 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset promising a seamless performance; especially, to all the gamers out there. If you are a gamer, either of the models can be a good pick.
BATTERY & STORAGE
Both the phones have a 4,000 mAh battery with 18W & 27W fast charging support for K20 and K20 Pro respectively including Type-C port. Furthermore, the K20 Pro comprises of hardware DC dimming support. Talking about storage, K20 and K20 Pro have a greater storage capacity of 64GB and 128GB storage. However, K20 Pro may have broader variants of storage. When it comes to RAM, both the models can be configured with 6GB or 8GB as per the requirement.
Good things comes with a cost Xiaomi claims that Redmi K20 series promise a flagship, high-end user experience with the latest tech powering both devices. It said the series is designed to be “ahead of the curve, and is set to catch the fancy of those who aspire to outperform every day”. I think K20pro is surely a best deal . There’s no microSD card slot in any of the variant so keep this in mind before you decide . Share your comments below .
